Meet Brionte' McCorkle....

Hello Neighbors,
I wear many hats in our community as director of the Adams Park Cultural Arts Festival, community engagement leader for Cascade Heights Business Consortium and as community maven. I love connecting people; especially in my community as we are so brilliant, clever and beautiful.

I want to introduce you to Brionte’ McCorkle.
Brionte’ McCorkle, is a candidate for District 11, Atlanta City Council, seat Keisha Lance- Bottoms, presently holds. Brionte’ spoke to my Environmental Justice Academy class last year which was sponsored by the EPA. I was impressed with her speech on community building and liked her activism, youth and intelligence about people, community and its green spaces. Brionte’ has had a good career with the Georgia Chapter of the Sierra Clubs as executive director. I personally cannot help but to believe that she will respect and preserve the lovely, green and lush communities of District 11 and that she will work hard to protect them and us.

I have been asked to serve as the campaign manager for Brionte’s run to represent Southwest Atlanta. As Brionte’s campaign manager it will be my duty and pleasure to introduce her to some of the finest people I have ever met, the residents, business owners and stakeholders of District 11. I trust Brionte’ to take great consideration and care of my beloved community. Please look forward to Brionte’ stopping by to introduce herself and via phone call. We also definitely need your financial support and volunteerism to make a successful run for city council on November 7th.

Planning for The Adams Park Cultural Arts Festival, APCAFEST 2017 takes place Saturday April 22nd at 11AM in Adams Park near the lake in old ball field.

We need help with programmers, event managers, set up /tear down crews, greeters, clean up, social media, hosts, and signage managers for the many events planned for the day. We need 2 Special People to recruit and schedule our incredible VOLUNTEERS, whom we treat like Rock Stars!

                            "Save The Date"
Saturday September 23rd for APCAFEST 2017!!
That gives us five months of planning and execution.

Looking forward to “A Great Day in Adams Park”!
