 Hello Neighbors and Friends of Adams Park,

            We are getting closer to APCAFEST 12 days and counting.  The sponsors and vendors are excited about coming to our community festival. This is a great time to show off Adams Park to perspective buyers and to the business owners whom sponsor our event. Please come out and support the Adams Park 5K Run/Walk the route is below. Come out and "Cheer" the Runners On! from 9 am till 11 am. The Adams Park 5K route has been officially metered by the USA Track and Field Association and is a qualifying route for the Peachtree Road Race. 
Register online at www.apcafest.org, click on 5K and fill out the registration form and email to dhonyale@apcafest.org, pay your $20 fee when you pick up your shirt and number at Adams Park on Friday the 27th from 5:30 pm till 8:30 pm at Blvd Lorraine and Lagoon Lane or on the morning of the race at 8 am. AP5K Registration at The Young Family YMCA, 2220 Campbellton Rd. on 9/22 from 10 am till 2 pm.     We will meet again over the next two Thursday's the 19th     and 26th from 7 till 8 pm. Just to tie up some loose ends.

APCAFEST, has partnered with Turner Broadcast Co. who will match every dollar that we raise for the 5K Run/ Walk so that we can support the "Maya Angelou Teen Program" at the Young Family YMCA. Our teens will be mentored by us throughout the festival in the various positions that it takes to implement and pull off a festival.

 Friends & Neighbors please volunteer for a four hour shift and mentor our youth in customer service and people skills. Another Hurdle!

I had one of those talks with city hall, today... There will be a time, sometime during APCAFEST when I will be able to sit down and take a very long and very slow deep breathe, I pray! Okay let me schedule this and get it done.

Adams Park 5K Walk Run 9/28! Registration 8AM.... Race 9AM Sharp!

To all of my neighbors who were cheated out of the 5K race last year.... APCAFEST, apologizes, profusely! We did not invite the security detail back this year and we had the Adams Park 5K route officially certified by the USA Track and Field Association as a training route for the Peachtree Rd. Race, so you may officially keep your time and speed, forevermore!
